They guys over at Nomadic Star are putting together a liveweb stream this Friday interviewing Alaska Native artists. 2009 SWIAI Indian Market

The SWIAI Indian Market was great. It was my first year there and i had a great time. I won a few prizes, had a good interview with Sam Haozous, and now have some work at the Andrew Smith Gallery.

Dry Ice

I'm leaving the sub artict for the weeked to attend the Dry Ice exibit and panal discution at Princeton. What a great line up of Alaskan Native Artist and performers. See every one there.

I just finished an interview for StoryCorp with Aldona Jonaitis director of the University of Alaska Museum of the North, and what a thrill to be part of such a great program. I have always loved the interviews on StoryCorp.  Aldona and I had a great conversation on growing up in Alaska, art, my wife Maya and our new son Keet.
